Fridley on YouTube: Mippey5 Dreams of a Brown Christmas at Commons Park
New video shows kids sledding on grass, skating on melting ice.
When last we checked on Luke "Mippey5" Thompson, he had featured Fridley in a YouTube video that parodied the hiphop song Welcome to My Hood while also paying tongue-in-cheek tribute to his hometown.
Fridley again figures prominently in a video he posted Wednesday titled Brown Christmas (see above).
Partway into the second episode of a new series he's calling Cookie and Friend is about a minute's worth of video showing kids making the best of the sledding hill and skating rinks at Fridley's snowless in above-freezing weather.

If Mippey5's irreverent, fun-loving spirit seems familiar, you may have seen the video he is best known for: a Katy Perry parody called "Minnesota Gurls" that went viral last year.
