Fridley VFW To Host Billiards Extravaganza Oct. 24-27

Fridley VFW Post 363 will host a billiard extravaganza called "Break For Vets," featuring some of the top amateur pool players in the area at a four-day event that runs from Oct. 24 to 27. 

Also, there will be some national champions and Hall of Fame players attending with the tournament events aimed at supporting activities of the VFW Post, according to organizers. 

The  play starts on Thursday, Oct. 24 with a tournament for veterans and auxiliary members and concludes on Sunday, Oct. 27 with a men nine-ball open. 

Major sponsor is Financial One Credit Union with other supporters including ReMax Realtors, Two Stooges Bar & Grill, Friendly Chevrolet and Biff's Sports Bar & Grill.
