ReplyI certainly understand concerns about parking in the area. I would guess The Convention Grill's parking lot and the neighborhood's streets are suddenly going to be even busier. That said, I'm pretty stoked to try Hello Pizza as soon as it opens.

Hi Katherine. They really seem to have tried to focus on making this one pedestrian friendly, at least based on the conversation during the City Council meeting. Pedestrian safety came up a few times during the public hearing. But I'm with you that it feels a bit like playing chicken attempting to use the crosswalk at the Grandview location.

It's actually really interesting, Tom. Crosstown appears to have divided marriage amendment support/opposition, while Hwy. 100 divides voter ID. Edina's highways apparently have some political power.

David, the map would basically be identical to this one. I put it together, but didn't post it to the site because it's literally the exact same map. Each precinct that went for Franzen also went for Obama and each one that voted for Downey also voted for Romney.
