I grew up in Hermantown, Minnesota, just outside of Duluth.  I met my husband at Big Sandy Camp in McGregor, Minnesota.  In 1978, I graduated from the University of Minnesota. 

My husband and I have lived several different places through the years but settled in Columbia Heights 26 years ago.  We raised our children here and have some fond memories of them growing up. 

Currently, I have three 'paying' part-time jobs but I also love to write so blogging seems like a natural progression.  

The goal for this blog is to give my interpretation of what is happening in Columbia Heights.  Since the Fridley Patch covers Fridley and surrounding communities I wanted to get out more information about one of those surrounding communities, Columbia Heights.
