Winter Storm Orko Is Coming to Get You, Fridley

Sounds worse when it has a scary name, doesn't it? The National Weather Service issued a new Hazardous Weather Outlook Saturday morning.

Winter is whipping up a cocktail of "snow, sleet and/or freezing rain," according to a Hazardous Weather Outlook that the National Weather Service issued Saturday morning for Fridley, Anoka County and a wedge of other central Minnesota counties. UPDATE: Winter Storm Warning for Fridley Why Do Winter Storms Have Names All of a Sudden? And Who Is Orko? Happy hour for precipitation-lovers will begin as early as late Saturday night. Fridley and much of Minnesota remains under a Winter Storm Watch, promising four to eight inches of snow by Monday morning. Meanwhile, Nemo is overflowing New England's cup with winter weather. After New England Finds Nemo, Winter Storm Orko Will Find Minnesota

Winter Storm Watch says Fridley can expect as much as 10 inches of snow.

Nemo, meet Orko. New England will get more attention (and, admittedly, more snow) with Winter Storm Nemo, but Winter Storm Orko will make the weekend interesting for the Midwest.
