Fridley Woman on the Lam after Jacking U.S. Marine Corps Car, Police Say

Tonya Annamae Losh, 33, missed her last court hearing in Dakota County. Now police are trying to find her again—this time without the help of the Marine Corps car's GPS.

Police are searching for a suspect from Fridley in a string of thefts in Burnsville—including taking a vehicle issued to the U.S. Marine Corps.  A warrant was issued after Fridley resident Tonya Annamae Losh, 33, who authorities have identified as living in Fridley, after she missed a court hearing on Oct. 30. Losh was one of two women who allegedly went on a spree in Burnsville's Heart of the City area in early October, breaking into cars in a parking ramp before reappropriating a 2010 Chevrolet Malibu belonging to a U.S. Marine Corps recruiting center and driving it to Fridley. Police found Losh and accomplice Sarah Elizabeth Burrington, a 27-year-old Minneapolis resident, with the help of the stolen car’s GPS unit. The two were charged …

Police: Women Stole Car—From U.S. Marine Corps

Tonya Annamae Losh of Fridley and Sarah Elizabeth Burrington of Minneapolis allegedly stole a car from a Marine Corps recruiting center in Burnsville, and were arrested after police tracked it using the vehicle's GPS.

OUTSIDE MINNEAPOLIS -- Two local woman have been charged with breaking into cars in a parking ramp, then stealing a car belonging to the U.S. Marine Corps recruiting center and driving it to Fridley—where police found them with the help of the stolen car’s GPS unit.
