Updated: 'People on the Ice Skating Rink, Taking off Their Clothes As They Dance'

From Briardale Park in Fridley, another report of scanty attire, this time in midwinter.

Update (10 a.m. Sunday): It was all over within eight minutes, it seems. According to the Fridley Police Department's log, it was 9:43 p.m. Saturday when the report came in of "a dozen people on the ice skating rink taking their clothes off as they dance" at Briardale Park. Fridley on YouTube: 'Can I Play?' Boot Hockey at Summit Square Park, 1989

While you're waiting for the NHL or Winterfest, here's 90 minutes of classic puck action in not-quite black and white.

YouTube user roachcliff1 posted this feature-length video from 1989 of epic boot hockey competition at Summit Square Park in Fridley. Warning: There's a bit of salty language right in the first couple seconds and there could well be more during the remaining 96 minutes. If you're wondering if you recognize someone in the video, roachcliff1 listed a few of the participants in the comments at YouTube. Related:
