3-Vehicle Crash Kills Fridley Man in Big Lake Township

A crash involving three vehicles Thursday morning in Big Lake Township left a Fridley resident dead, according to the Sherburne County Sheriff's Office. Ronald Talbot, 48, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, which happened just before 10 a.m. near the intersection of 211th Avenue and County Road 15, a statement from the sheriff's office said. The drivers of the two other vehicles—Blane Travis, 52, and Donna Travis, 54, of Elk River, who are married—were taken to area hospitals with what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries. (Donna Travis was airlifted to North Memorial Hospital and Blane Travis was taken by ambulance to New River Hospital.)
