Fridley Man Prepares for Two Polar Bear Plunges
Cory Doyle will hurl himself into White Bear Lake and Crystal Lake to raise money for Special Olympics Minnesota.
Perhaps the people watching the mercury most closely are those signed up for a Polar Bear Plunge in coming days and weeks. Cory Doyle of Fridley signed up for two: Jan. 26, 2013 at White Bear Lake and Crystal Lake in the south metro on Feb. 23, 2013. It's his third year doing this crazy stunt for a good cause.
