Nathan William Charles Jones, who pleaded guilty to groping a girl at the Fridley Walmart in 2011 as she stood within a foot of her mother, was sentenced Wednesday to 12 years of supervised probation, according to WCCO. A man charged with groping an 11-year-old girl as she stood eight inches from her mother at the Fridley Walmart entered a guilty plea Tuesday in Anoka County District Court. The plea comes nearly 13 months after the alleged sexual assault. Nathan William Charles Jones, 29, of Columbia Heights, posted a $100,000 bail bond Tuesday night, according to the Anoka County Jail. He was arrested Friday and held over the holiday weekend. The terms of the $100,000 bail amount include a no-contact order, according to David A. Cossi, chief deputy county attorney. A larger bail amount option did not include the no-contact order, he said. The conditions included "no contact with the alleged victim, her family or any unsupervised contact with minors," according to KARE11, although Cossi said he couldn't confirm those details.
