St. Louis Park Girl Dies of Flu; Fridley Girls Basketball Games Postponed

A death from flu on the St. Louis Park High School JV girls basketball team prompted postponement of three games with Fridley teams Tuesday. Carly Christenson, a St. Louis Park teen stricken with Influenza A since Dec. 20, died Tuesday afternoon, according to WCCO and a family statement on a church Facebook page. All three games between girls teams from Fridley High School and St. Louis Park High School are postponed, according to the Fridley High School website. The JV, 9A and Varsity games were set for 5:45 p.m. and 7:15 p.m. at St. Louis Park High School.
