4-Year-Old Only Victim Listed as Critical Two Days after Fridley SUV Rollover

Driver, 35, and passenger, 47, are in fair condition. Conditions of four teenage passengers range from serious to satisfactory.

The youngest person in the SUV that rolled over Saturday on University Avenue NE at I-694 in Fridley is the only one of the seven injured people to be listed in critical condition on Monday. On Sunday, WCCO reported that both the boy and the driver, Jennifer L. Teetzel, were in critical condition at North Memorial Medical Center. Here is the condition of the seven people injured in the crash, as of 10:30 a.m. Monday (Hennepin County Medical Center) and 12:20 p.m. Monday (North Memorial Medical Center).

WCCO: Driver, 4-year-old from Fridley SUV Rollover in Critical Condition

SUV Rollover in Fridley Leaves 7 Seriously Hurt

Only one was wearing a seatbelt. A 4 year old and four teens are among the injured. The driver had been drinking, according to MN State Patrol.

Police Found Minivan Speeder Hiding under Pile of Clothes, Charges Say

Troy Eric Lee, 42, of Minneapolis was arrested in a basement bedroom closet in north Minneapolis after leading police on a chase starting on I-694 in Fridley.

  One minute he was at the wheel of his minivan, displaying a frisbee golf sticker and hurtling through Fridley on I-694 at 83 miles per hour in a 60 mph zone.  Twenty minutes later he was in a basement closet at his north Minneapolis residence, hiding from police under a pile of clothes. Wednesday was not a good night for Troy Eric Lee, 42, of Minneapolis, according to a criminal complaint filed Friday morning in Anoka County District Court. Lee faces one count of fleeing from police, a felony that can carry a penalty of up to three years in prison and a fine of as much of $5,000. Lt. Fridley Cops: Frisbee-Golf-Loving Freeway Speeder Finally Caught in Closet

Pursuit started on I-694, stopped in a Minneapolis neighborhood, according to Fridley police. Officers from both cities later apprehended a suspect hiding in a closet inside a residence.

  It started Wednesday night with a minivan speeding west on I-694 through Fridley at a rate of speed of 80 miles per hour or faster, according to Fridley Police Lt. Mike Monsrud. It ended with Fridley and Minneapolis police arresting a suspect hiding in a closet at a north Minneapolis residence, Monsrud said. Monsrud offered this account of the incident by email Thursday afternoon: On March 13, 2013 at 11:29 PM a Fridley Police patrol  officer attempted to stop a car for speeding on Westbound I-694 near Main St. The vehicle was traveling over 80 MPH at that time.
