Report: Mark Mauer Must Take Classes, Pay Fine Following Prostitution Sting

Former Hill-Murray High School football coach Mark Mauer, who resigned from his two posts at the school amid prostitution allegations in Fridley, has agreed to a continuance for dismissal, according to a FOX 9 report. That means he will not be convicted as long as he pays $500 in court costs and takes a “Breaking Free” class within the next month and a half, the report says. Mauer was arrested in Fridley in February as part of a two-day police operation at a motel. One of 19 men arrested, he was charged with a misdemeanor, booked at the Anoka County Jail and released.
