Going as fast as 100 mph, suspects made it from Elk River to northeast Minneapolis in less than half an hour before police stopped them, according to reports at Police Clips.

The chase started in Elk River, according to Police Clips, and ended in St. Anthony or northeast Minneapolis at about 1:55 a.m. Thursday. If you were awakened by a helicopter in the middle of the night, this might have been the reason.
