Bernardy: Jan. 30 Superfund Info Sessions 'Great Opportunity'

Two public meetings next Wednesday will focus on forming a Community Advisory Group for polluted sites in Fridley.

State Rep. Connie Bernardy announced Thursday that she "would like to invite all who are interested to attend an informational session with the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) on January 30 at the Fridley Community Center." Here is the rest of her announcement: The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency will sponsor two informational sessions to discuss the formation of a Community Advisory Group to advise environmental regulators on the Fridley-area cleanup sites.  At the sessions, EPA staff will provide information on how to form a Community Advisory Group and choose its members.  Community Advisory Group membership is voluntary, and participants should be willing to serve two-year terms.  Community Advisory Groups meet…
