Fridley on YouTube

Fridley on YouTube: Forest Lake to Fridley at 1,750 mph

Fridley is the destination in this sped-up commuting clip on YouTube.

Ever raced to Fridley? This time-lapse YouTube video will bring back memories. Note: The person who posted this YouTube clip  has since removed it. A YouTube user uploaded this mini-road movie last month. It's a first-person view from his Mercedes from the time it leaves his Forest Lake garage to the University Avenue exit off I-694 in Fridley. This feature highlights random videos that appear on YouTube that have something to do with Fridley. Earlier installments include a passing Amtrak train and a video ode to Fridley High School. (We haven't done that video yet.) If you have a suggestion or make your own YouTube video about Fridley, upload it to this post, leave a link in comments below, or email chris.steller@patch.com.
