She Drove and Knocked on Doors for Team of Burglars, Charges Say

Police say Christine Rose Lewis of Fridley helped Dashay Dontay Williams and Trevon Jevonte Williams scope out likely burglary targets in Brooklyn Park, then drove the getaway car.

Three people, one of them from Fridley, have been charged with breaking into a Brooklyn Park home and stealing guns, jewelry and electronics. Christine Rose Lewis, 19, of Fridley, and Dashay Dontay Williams, 20, and Trevon Jevonte Williams, 19, both of Minneapolis, are charged with second-degree burglary, a felony with a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison and a $20,000 fine. Brooklyn Park police were called to a burglary in progress in the 3900 block of 81st Avenue North just after 10 a.m. Dec. 5 when a neighbor reported seeing three men entering a nearby home, then carrying items out with them, according to the criminal complaint, signed by Brooklyn Park Police Detective Chris Donahue.
