Man Found Hurt by Hwy. 65 Wasn't Struck by Vehicle, Anoka Sheriff Says

Authorities seeking black Cadillac Escalade in connection with the case.

A man found Saturday at 3 a.m. lying along Hwy. 65 in Fridley with a bad head injury wasn't struck by a vehicle, the Anoka County Sheriff's Office said in a news release Monday afternoon. Still authorities are seeking information about a driver and vehicle in connection with the case: The victim hasn't been identified beyond his age of 23 years. He remains hospitalized in critical condition, Fridley police said Monday morning.
