Empty Bowls Set for March 6 and 29

Southern Anoka County Assistance (SACA) to benefit from events.

Fridley-area folks can help SACA (Southern Anoka County Assistance) by attending one or both upcoming Empty Bowls fundraising events.

A free-will offering that benefits SACA gets you an artist-made pottery bowl to keep and a dinner or soup, chili, bread and custard.

The first Empty Bowls is March 6 at (enter Door No. 29 at the building's northwest corner).

The second Empty Bowls is March 29 at Murzyn Hall, 530 Mill St. NE, Columbia Heights.

Both events are 4:30-8 p.m.

as well as at Murzyn Hall.

The events will feature entertainment by Fridley, Columbia Heights and Spring Lake Park high schools. Professional potter Lee Persell of Fridley will be on hand demonstrating her craft.
