Overnight: Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Fridley, SE Anoka County

Storm prompted tornado warning to the northwest earlier in Sherburne County.

Fridley is under a severe thunderstorm warning from 3:30–4:15 a.m. Tuesday.

According to the National Weather Service:

AT 322 AM CDT...RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS... CAPABLE OF PRODUCING QUARTER SIZE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS OF 60 MPH. THESE STORMS WERE LOCATED ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM FOREST LAKE TO ARDEN HILLS TO NEW HOPE...AND MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 35 MPH. ...
