EVENT: Family Rafting on the River at Coon Rapids Dam
Program starts on the west side of the Mississippi River.
Spend a morning or the whole day floating and paddling down the Mississippi River in a large rubber raft on Saturday, June 9, from 9:30 a.m.-4 p.m., at Coon Rapids Dam Regional Park, 10360 W. River Rd., Brooklyn Park.
Experienced naturalists will guide the way, and there will be several stops to explore islands, sandbars and beaches. No experience necessary. Shuttle, water and snacks provided.
Cost is $45 per person and reservations are required. Call 763-559-6700 to make a reservation and reference activity number 315401-01. This program is for ages 8 and older.
