Calling All Convertibles (Well, 4 Anyway)! Fridley 49er Days Seeks Volunteers

, Fridley 49er Days organizers are seeking four convertibles to drive Ambassador candidates in the parade. (With any luck, the weather will be different and the tops can be down!)

Here are today's developments, including contact info in case you do know of an available convertible.

Here’s an update on the upcoming festival:
1. 4 convertibles are needed for the parade to drive Ambassador candidates -- contact Angie Nolan at angie.r.nolan@gmail.com
2. Volunteers are still needed – especially on Saturday – contact Dan Gourde at sgourde@aol.com
3. Buttons are being sold at the off of 57th ($3)
4. Pony rides will be offered on Saturday from 1-4 p.m. – cost is $1 per ride
5. The cost for the inflatable carnival (Saturday 1-9 p.m.) is $2/ride or $12 for an unlimited wristband
6. On Saturday from 1-4 p.m. we will have an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) simulator which gives people a chance to experience what it is like to ride an actual ATV.
