Bike related crashes kill 900 people every year and send about 567,000 to hospital emergency rooms with injuries. Wearing a bike helmet can reduce the risk of head injury by 85%.

Safe Kids Anoka County wants to make sure your family has bike helmets.  In April and May we travel around the county distributing and properly fitting bike helmets.

At each clinic we have new Bell® bike helmets available for purchase for $13 for both children and adults.  if you already own a helmet, we can check to make sure that it fits properly.  We encourage parents to join us and set a great example for the kids. 

Clinics are advertised in the ABC Newspapers for Anoka County.
