Bike Helmet Clinic at Fridley Police Station Wednesday

Event is from 4–6 p.m. on April 17, 2013 at police headquarters at Fridley City Hall.

Get a bike helmet for an adult or a child for $13 at a Safe Kids Anoka bike-helmet clinic at the Fridley Police Department at Fridley City Hall on Wednesday, April 17, 2013, from 4–6 p.m.

Or bring your helmet to the event and get expert help making it fit right.

From the Safe Kids Anoka website:

Bike related crashes kill 900 people every year and send about 567,000 to hospital emergency rooms with injuries. Wearing a bike helmet can reduce the risk of head injury by 85%.

Safe Kids Anoka County wants to make sure your family has bike helmets.  In April and May we travel around the county distributing and properly fitting bike helmets.

At each clinic we have new Bell® bike helmets available for purchase for $13 for both children and adults.  if you already own a helmet, we can check to make sure that it fits properly.  We encourage parents to join us and set a great example for the kids.

Clinics are advertised in the ABC Newspapers for Anoka County.
