A Firecracker of a Forecast for Fourth of July?

It's the day of picnics, concerts and fireworks.

Get your grills fired up, your easy chairs ready for an outdoor concert and your spots picked out to watch fireworks.
Mother Nature appears ready to smile on Lady Independence: The National Weather Service (NWS) is forecasting nice weather for the Fourth of July for Roseville and the rest of the Twin Cities.
The NWS in Chanhassan is predicting highs in the upper 70s to low 80s with mostly sunny skies on Thursday.
If the forecast holds true, that will be a respit from the deluge of rain that has dogged the Twin Cities for much of the past three months. The NWS reports that the Twin Cities rainfall is six inches above normal compared with a typical April through June period.
