Woodcrest Baptist Academy Drops Baseball Game to Liberty Classical Academy
The game was close for a while.
On Thursday the varsity baseball team lost to Liberty Classical Academy of Maplewood by a score of 9-1.
The game, played at Woodcrest's home field, was a close, one-run contest until Liberty broke things open with a big sixth inning.
Senior pitcher Ron Newland was charged with the loss for Woodcrest.
