Spring Lake Park Homecoming Pits Panthers against Polars

Tailgating starts at 4:30 p.m. Friday, with the parade at 5:30 p.m. and the football game vs. North St. Paul at 7 p.m.

Homecoming week 2012 at Spring Lake Park High School reaches its peak Friday, Sept. 28, with a student pepfest then pregame tailgating and parade before the football game with North St. Paul at 7 p.m.

Tailgating starts at 4:30 p.m. outside the main entrance rotunda. The parade is at 5:30 p.m., along the front driveway of the main entrance.

The homecoming football game with the North St. Paul Polars starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are $6 for adults, $4 for students and free for fans 60 years old and older.

The festivities continue Saturday with the Panther Foundation's second annual Family Fun event  and 5K/2K Walk/Run.

Register for the walk/run at the high school's main entrance rotunda Saturday at 10 p.m. for the 11 a.m. event.

Also Saturday, 10 a.m.–1 p.m., is the Panther Foundation's Family Fun event at Panther Stadium, with inflatable bouncers, children's activities and entertainment by SLPHS student bands.
