Melonie Jeska of Fridley was one of 172 women to finish the on Saturday.
The course tested competitors with a half-mile swim, followed by a 14.5-mile bike ride and finally a three-mile sprint.
Jeska, 44, finished with a time of 2:11:43 (27:47 for the swim, 1:02:45 for the bike ride, and 33:44 for the run).

Heidi Keller-Miler of Chaska was the first woman to cross the finish line of Saturday's race, with a time of 1:12:13.
Steve Sander of Richfield was the top overall finisher, completing the 18-mile course in 1:05:58.

More than 430 athletes from throughout Minnesota and from as far away as California, Virginia and Florida competed in the race.
