Kostick Fastest Fridley Finisher in Twin Cities Marathon

Altogether, 8,849 runners finished the 26.2 mile 2013 Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon Sunday, Oct. 6 – including 25 from Fridley.  

The fastest Fridley runner finishing the race was 22-year-old Robert Kostick, who posted a time of 2:55:56. Second fastest from Fridley was 37-year-old Corey McKusick in a time of 3:08:06.

The fastest Fridley woman was Wati Hlusak, 36, in a time of 3:31:50.

The oldest Fridley runners were 53-year-olds Gary Keeler and Dean Latti. Keeler finished in a time of 4:17:52; Latti in a time of 4:49:48.  

Arizona resident Nick Arciniaga won the 2013 Twin Cities Marathonmen’s race with a time of 2:13:11, according to a StarTribune.com report. Former Minnesota resident Annie Bersagel won the woman’s title with a time of 2:30:52.

The race began near Mall of America Field in Minneapolis and finished at the Minnesota State Capitol in St. Paul.
