Fridley Girls Swimming Team Defeats Irondale
The Fridley girls took first place in several events including diving and 200 medley relay.
In girls' swimming competition this week, Fridley High School defeated Irondale 52 to 49, the Tigers first win in at least nine years over the Knights.
Fridley's victory on Tuesday was powered with first place finishes in several events including 200 medley, 200 free and 400 free, diving, 50 free, 100 free, 100 backstroke, and 100 breaststroke.
