School Boards Meet, Make New York Times Tuesday

Spring Lake Park and Columbia Heights boards have regular meetings while Anoka-Hennepin is in national headlines.

Two of the four school districts that serve parts of the city of Fridley have board meetings Tuesday night, and a third was featured in Tuesday's New York Times. 

The Spring Lake Park school board  District 16 draws students from a section of northern Fridley.

The Columbia Heights school board also  District 13 draws students from a section of southern Fridley.

The Anoka-Hennepin school board's next regular meeting is Sept. 26. Anoka-Hennepin is the subject of a Sept. 13 article in the New York Times about the lawsuit concerning policies on bullying and sexuality. District 11 draws students from a small section of northwestern Fridley.

The meets next on . District 14 draws students from a central section of Fridley.
