Norovirus Likely Cause of Totino Grace Banquet Food Poisoning
At least 75 people got sick at the football team's banquet Sunday.
A Sunday banquet for Totino Grace football players has come under scrutiny after at least 75 people who ate there got sick, the Star Tribune reported Thursday.
The Minnesota Department of Health is investigating a foodborne illness at the banquet, which 273 people attended at the Edinburgh USA Golf Course clubhouse restaurant. Lancer Hospitality provided the restaurant’s food service.
Because of symptoms that include vomiting and diarrhea, state officials suspect that the norovirus caused the illness.
