Fridley Public Schools Back Open Tuesday

Power outages prompted closures Monday.

All five buildings in the Fridley Public Schools will reopen their doors for class Tuesday, according to a district spokesperson.

Sunday's tornado storm caused power outages at three of the five buildings, Muriel Sharpe said. That prompted school officials to cancel classes Monday at all five schools.

The buildings that lost power are Fridley High School, Fridley Middle School and Fridley Community Center.
