Fridley High School Homecoming This Week

It's gonna be a catfight when the Fridley Tigers meet the Chisago Lakes Area Wildcats.

Pajama-wearing students carrying teddy bears were the norm in the halls of when "Comfy Day" kicked off FHS's homecoming dress-up days.

Buttons proclaiming the Fridley Tigers as "The One True Wildcat" are plentiful preceding Friday's "Catfight" against the Chisago Lakes Wildcats at 7 p.m.

Tuesday is jersey/uniform day with coronation of homecoming royalty at 1:10 pm.

Senior young women vying for queen are Alissa Chevre, Caitlin Huna, Hannah Niewald, Haley Solz and Britani Youngmark. Candidates for king are Will Early, Stephen O'Leary, Nate Geving, Dominique Neisz and Devaghndre Jones.

Their court (already chosen) includes freshmen Matt Mraz and Shaye Weslock, sophomores Josh Nordling and Sarah Couwenhoven, and juniors A.J. Morris and Zoe Kelly.

Wednesday is Class T-Shirt Day, Thursday is Blaze Orange Day and Friday culminates in Fridley's Spirit Day-Black and Gold Day.

Friday evening the royalty will preside at the and the homecoming dance.
