Former Totino-Grace President Who Revealed Same-Sex Relationship Lands New Job

Bill Hudson, former head of the Catholic high school, is taking a new job at Mounds Park Academy in Maplewood.

Bill Hudson, the former president of Totino-Grace High School in Fridley, is taking a new job as an administrator and fundraiser at Mounds Park Academy in Maplewood, according to a Pioneer Press news report.
Earlier this summer Hudson resigned after disclosing to the board of the Catholic high school that he has been in a long-term, committed same-sex relationship. That lifestyle clashes with the Catholic Church's official religious doctrine.
Now, Hudson, who will become Mounds Park Academy's director of institutional advancement, hopes his new job lets him return to being "a boring person," the St. Paul newspaper reported.  Mounds Park Academy is a  private non-sectarian school.

Hudson's departure from Totino-Grace sparked  an alumni petition in his support, Fridley Patch reported in July.
