Don't Know When Classes Start for Fridley Students? Check Our List.

Teachers are already back in classrooms preparing for the new school year.

Most Fridley primary and secondary students are set to start classes on Sept. 4—some private schools had their first day the week before Labor Day—but teachers are already back in the classrooms, preparing for the new school year.

At Fridley High School, teachers were treated to the performance of a song from Seussical the Musical and serenaded by the school’s marching band.

Here’s when classes begin for area schools that enroll Fridley students:

Public schools

Fridley School District: Tuesday, Sept. 4, and Wednesday, Sept. 5, depending on grade (check calendar)

Columbia Heights School District: Tuesday, Sept. 4

  • Schools with Fridley students: Columbia Heights High, Columbia Academy, North Park Elementary

Spring Lake Park School District: Tuesday, Sept. 4, to Thursday, Sept. 6, depending on grade (check calendar)
