In support of promoting small local businesses offering something unique, I want to encourage folks to try out this newest incarnation of the restaurant on Central Ave, near Target. It has changed names (and I presume ownership) a few times over the past year. Some may recognize it as the former Himalayan restaurant. I stopped in with my father on Sunday and was pleasantly surprised by the wonderful food and attentive but low-key service. They have both vegetarian and meat entrees, and excellent, flavorful side dishes. Our server advised us that this was only the third day of operation under the current management, but all seemed to be calm and orderly. Business for that time of day seemed to be steady. There is a buffet during lunch and weekends, and the ala-carte menu is available in the evenings. While this was only a first visit, I will definitely be back to check out the alacarte menu and other items.
