Read It: Court Ruling Favors Stroke Victim Fired by Fridley Sam's Club

The MN Court of Appeals said mental impairment, not misconduct, was behind Wal-Mart's firing.

A man fired from his part-time, overnight stocking job at in Fridley in 2009 won a victory Tuesday. Minnesota Court of Appeals judges ruled it was his mental impairment from a series of strokes—and not "misconduct"—that led to fire him.
