Keith Ellison to Visit Fridley Senior Program on Monday

Joining the congressman will be the executive director of the National Committee to Preserve Social Security and Medicare.

U.S. Rep. Keith Ellison (DFL-MN), who represents Fridley in Congress, will be at the Fridley Community Center Monday, April 1, 2013, from 2–3:30 p.m., according to an announcement in the Fridley Senior News (see PDF):

Congressman Ellison has planned a Senior Citizen Forum to discuss the impact of the federal budget on Social Security, Medicare, and services that affect seniors. Congressman Ellison will be joined by a representative from the National Committee to Preserve Social Security and Medicare.

Senior Program Director Connie Thompson said in an email that it will be the NCPSSM's executive director appearing with Ellison.
