Opportunity for residents to visit stations staffed by representatives from the City's Public Works Department, the Minnesota Department of Health, the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency, and the U.S. Environmental Protection  Agency, and to discuss and ask questions about a wide variety of topics concerning the City's water supply system, the City's superfund sites, the testing of Fridley's water, the cost of additional treatment alternatives, and observations by the Senior Epidemiologist from the Minnesota Department of Health.

Sponsored by the City of Fridley in conjunction with the MN Department of Health, the MN Pollution Control Agency, and the US Environmental Protection Agency.

I wonder what was dumped into a large pit located just south of the Fridley Community Center, site of next week's Health Fair? The pit, shown on a 1952 USGS topographic map, is now filled.
