Anoka County District Judge Alan Pendleton set April 6 as the date for the trial of Timothy LaMere, 21, of Blaine, on charges () that he supplied the 2C-E drug that killed Trevor Robinson last March.
Robinson, 19, of Coon Rapids, died at in Fridley after friends brought him there from a party at a house in Blaine.
LaMere will have another pretrial hearing on Feb. 8, according to the St. Paul Pioneer Press.
The mother of Robinson's 14-month son spoke to reporters from the Pioneer Press and the Star Tribune after Wednesday's pretrial hearing.
Alyssa DuCharme said she was frustrated by delays in LaMere's case, which Pendleton said were because of forensic and autopsy information that not yet filed with the court, according to the Pioneer Press, which also reported the LaMere may be allowed to leave prison for an unidentified surgical procedure.
