Fridley police were assisting Columbia Heights police after a report of a shooting early Sunday morning in the area of 37th Avenue NE to 40th Avenue NE and University Avenue NE, <a href="https://www.facebook.com/PoliceClips/posts/591407647557917" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">according to Police Clips</a>.  The Minnesota State Patrol was also assisting in a search of the area in which police shut down traffic on several streets, Police Clips reported.
