Order Pizza with a Topping of Fire Prevention

A Fridley fire truck might bring a Domino's pizza to your door Monday or Wednesday.

Order a pizza from the Fridley Domino's Monday or Wednesday, Oct. 8 or 10, 5–8 p.m., and a Fridley Fire Department truck might pull up to your door with a hot pie.

Fire fighters will check your home's smoke detectors and if all are working fine, you get your pizza free. If they find one that's not working, they'll replace the batteries or put in a new alarm.

It's all part of Fire Prevention Week, which started in Fridley with the annual open house at Fire Station No. 1 at Fridley City Hall on Saturday, Oct. 6.
