Keith Basinski Update: Funeral Time Change, New Memorial Fund

Updated below: There is a change in the announced time of the funeral for Spring Lake Park Keith Basinski, the UPS driver who died in a Sept. 27 mass shooting in Minneapolis.

Basinski's funeral will start at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 4 at Emmanuel Christian Center in Spring Lake Park.

Visitation is as previously announced, from 6–9 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 3 at Miller Funeral Home in Fridley.

New Memorial Fund
Basinski's union, Teamsters Joint Council 32, announced a new memorial fund for Basinski's family. Send contributions in care of Keith Basinski Memorial Fund to:

"The thoughts and prayers of the 1.4 million members of the Teamsters Union are with Brother Brasinski's family today," said Teamsters General President Jim Hoffa in a statement Wednesday.

Another fund for Basinski has been established at First Advantage Bank in Coon Rapids.

And there is another memorial fund for the families of all the victims of the shooting at Accent Signage Systems.
