He Left '$100 Bill' Behind at Store: Fridley Police Blotter

Customer at first wanted to buy something small with a big bill that turned out to be fake.

A male entered Schaaf Floral, 6554 University Ave. NE, on March 14 and wanted to buy a small item with a $100 bill. When the skeptical clerk took the bill back to coworkers to verify it, the male left the store without his bill. Police took the bill as evidence of counterfeiting and checked the area but didn't find the male.

Incidents generally appear in the order in which they were reported, not necessarily the order in which they occurred.
