Fridley Woman Claims Ex-Friend Posted Nude Photos of Her on Craigslist

Fridley Police are investigating a women's allegations that an ex-friend posted nude photos of her on Craigslist ad, advertising she was interested in engaging in a sexual liaison.   
In its latest weekly crime log, Fridley Police said one its officers was dispatched last Sunday (Sept. 8) to the Georgetown Apartments,  5760 E. River Road, to take a harassment complaint from the woman.  Police have logged the incident as potential gross misdemeanor harassment. 
The officer reported, "I was dispatched to meet with a female that found (claimed) that her ex-friend posted nude photos of her in a Craigslist ad advertising a sexual liaison. The caller was receiving lewd text messages from prospective suitors.
"A male also showed up at the location to meet with her in reference to the ad.," police reported. "The caller was very concerned for her safety."
A Fridley police spokesman said today (Friday) the department has a potential suspect in mind but still has the case under investigation.
