Update below: Fridley police helped in the aftermath of a shooting at a Spring Lake Park motel Friday afternoon.
The incident occurred at the Highway House, 1616 County Road 10. Fridley officers assisted with a perimeter around the scene, according to Sgt. Rick Crestik. Two Fridley officers also went door-to-door inside to clear the building.
The call to Fridley came at about 2:25 p.m., Crestik said. As of 4:30 p.m., Fridley police were clear from the scene.
One person who was shot in the abdomen went to Hennepin County Medical Center, KSTP reported, and three male suspects are at large.
Update (Monday, noon): Fridley Police Lt. Mike Monsrud said that as of Monday morning, no one had been arrested although authorities may have some idea of who they're looking for.
