In Strange Tale of the Tape, Males Escaped on Foot: Fridley Police Blotter

And you could measure exactly how many feet.

A Fridley police officer responded to a report of suspicious activity in the 500 block of Kimball Street NE on Sept. 23, 2012—several males had just run through a neighbor's yard. Upon arrival, the officer found the street had been block by a tape measure strung across the road. The officer removed the tape. The males were no longer there.
