TV Didn't Come Down to the Cities on Its Own: Fridley Police Blotter

Fridley police cited a female for pawning property that wasn't hers at Max IT Pawn, 7300 University Ave. NE on Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2012. The property was a TV that had been stolen in Mille Lacs County.

Here are other incidents selected from the weekly report from the Fridley Police Department:

Sunday, Sept. 30, 2012

• 4:55 p.m.: A caller at East River Road and Hartman Circle NE reported a purse stolen from a vehicle that was damaged when broken into. 
• 5:15 p.m.: Road rage incident involving threats in the 200 block of 57th Avenue NE.
• 6:10 p.m.: A police call to a dispute between neighbors in the 6300 block of Fifth Street NE ended with one of the neighbors going to jail after police learned that there was a warrant for his arrest.
• 7:09 p.m.: Police responded to a report of a dog bite that happened in the 4500 block of 2-1/2 Street NE.
• 10:27 p.m.: A report of possible illegal dumping at South Fridley Apartments, 1120 52nd Ave. NE, turned out to be tenants moving out who were throwing away items from their apartment and garage. 
• 11:59 p.m.: A motorist pulled over in the 5300 block of Central Avenue NE for failing to obey a semaphore also had no insurance. Police cited him for the offenses and released him at the scene. The vehicle was towed.

Monday, Oct. 1, 2012

• 1:08 a.m.: Police on patrol observed an intoxicated male in the middle of the road in the 8000 block of Ranchers Road NE and after checking on his welfare arrested him on suspicion of possessing synthetic marijuana and drug paraphernalia, and obstructing the legal process. 
• 7:58 a.m.: Someone broke into a vehicle in the 1200 block of East Moore Lake Drive NE and stole a table tennis set.
• 9:08 a.m.: A woman in the 1000 block of North Circle NE reported that her daughter poured sugar in the gas tank of the woman's car.
