Fridley in a Frame: Fire Crews Respond to Call on Camelot Lane

Initial reports of a house fire turned out to be a minor incident on the south shore of Harris Lake.

Fridley Fire Department crews responded shortly after 11:30 a.m. Saturday to what was first reported on Anoka County Emergency Dispatch as a possible house fire in the 1600 bock of Camelot Lane.

Within 45 minutes all units—including Engine 1 with a crew of one, Engine 2 with a crew of three, and Rescue 1—were clear of the scene on the south shore of Harris Lake.

According to scanner reports, crews put out what turned out to be a small wall fire shortly before noon.

A Fridley police officer on the scene said there had been no fire but residents had been concerned about a possible fire.
