The Fridley Fire Department will hold its annual open house from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. this Saturday (Oct. 5) at Fridley Fire Station No. 1, 6431 University Ave. NE.
The event will kick off Fire Prevention Week.
Open house activities include squad car rides, a live burn demonstration, fire extinguishers demonstrations, refreshments, games for kids and safety information for all.
